Getting There New!

Those who will be arriving at Syros by ferry, and not by plane, will most probably take their ferry from the port of Piraeus.

 

Getting from the Airport to the port of Piraeus

1) The easiest way is by Suburban Railway (“Proastiakos”) to Piraeus (50 min, 6 Euro fare). Departures every 30-60 min.

Special fares:

Two-way ticket: 10 Euros

Group tickets (2 persons and above): 5 Euros per person

 

Alternatives:

2)  Shuttle-bus X92 to the port of Piraeus (see route here).

         OR

3) Metro Line 3 down to “Monastiraki” station. Then change to Line 1, direction “Piraeus” (for maps see here).
